This Privacy Policy describes how The Gateway Network ("we", "us", "the Gateway Network") handles information across the Gateway Network application, including its modules: Arcana Architect, Astral Key, ECHO-SYNC, ECHO-ENGINE, ECHO VOX, THE EXCHANGE, THE VAULT, and CRYSTAL MATRIX.

This policy applies to the Gateway Network web and mobile applications and all data created through your use of Gateway. It does not apply to third-party services that Gateway connects to (such as payment processors or cloud storage), which are governed by their own policies — see Section 21.

• Account & identity: user ID, display name, email, username, profile image, account creation date, account status.
• Astral Key: birth date, birth time, birthplace, timezone, and birth profiles you create. Latitude/longitude may be derived from your birthplace for chart calculation.
• Arcana Architect: questions, intentions, and prompts you enter before a reading.
• Echo Engine / DAW: project names, imported audio files, and project metadata you create.
• Echo Verse (community): profile content, posts, comments, messages, and other content you choose to publish.
• Support data: information you send in support requests, feedback, or bug reports.

• Astral Key: natal chart data, planetary positions, houses, aspects, transits, synastry inputs, compatibility scores, and saved astrology readings. Chart positions are produced by deterministic astronomical calculation.
• Arcana Architect: drawn cards, card orientations, card discoveries, saved readings, and reading history.
• Gateway History: cross-module activity records and module interactions.
• Gateway Wallet: token balance, wallet transaction history, debits, credits, and purchase identifiers.
• Echo Sync: frequency presets, favorite sessions, and saved audio sessions.
• Echo Engine: tracks, clips, sequences, presets, and session state.

When you use Gateway we may receive technical information necessary to operate and secure the service: IP address, browser type, device, operating system, timestamps, authentication logs, error logs, and session identifiers. We do not operate third-party advertising networks. Analytics, where enabled, is described in Section 16 and your choices in Section 27.

When you purchase Gateway tokens, payment processing is handled by our payment processor (Stripe). Gateway does not receive or store your full card number. We retain purchase records, token amounts, and transaction identifiers for accounting and reconciliation. See the Payments & Refunds Policy for details.

Birth profiles (birth date, time, and location) are used to calculate astrological charts. This data is private by default and is not shown to other users unless you explicitly share it. Compatibility scores are interpretive tools, not identity or safety verification.

Your questions, drawn cards, and saved readings are private by default. Tarot and astrology content is generated for information, reflection, and entertainment and is not professional advice — see the Disclaimers document.

Audio files you import or create in Echo Engine, and sessions you save in Echo Sync, are private by default unless you explicitly publish or share them.

When you post, comment, or message within Echo Verse, that content becomes visible to others according to the visibility you choose. Private messages remain visible only to participants. Reports and moderation history are retained for safety.

• To authenticate your account and provide the service.
• To calculate charts, generate readings, and deliver module features.
• To enable personalization such as recommended modules and saved preferences (where enabled).
• To process AI-assisted interpretations and narration of your saved content.
• To maintain the wallet ledger and process purchases.
• To provide customer support.
• To detect fraud and protect security.
• To comply with legal obligations.

Gateway uses AI models to assist with tarot interpretation, astrology interpretation, compatibility analysis, narration, summaries, and generated media. AI outputs may contain errors and should not be treated as authoritative professional advice. Astronomical chart positions are produced by deterministic calculation; AI interprets verified chart data and does not invent planetary positions.

Gateway relies on the following categories of third-party providers, each governed by their own privacy and data practices:

• Application hosting, database, and authentication: provided through the Base44 platform.
• Payment processing: Stripe (when purchases are made).
• Internal asset-source integrations: administrator-controlled cloud storage may be used to import Gateway-owned media. The current connected Google Drive is not used as a destination for end-user personal data.
• AI providers: language and media models accessed through the Base44 platform for interpretation and generation.
• Media delivery: a media/CDN service for serving images and audio.

We do not sell your information. A current list of active processors is maintained in our Third-Party Processor Registry and is available on request.

We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Certain records — including the wallet ledger, transaction history, and records required for fraud prevention or legal compliance — are retained even after account deletion. Other records are deleted or anonymized according to our retention rules. See Section 23 and the Privacy & Data document.

You can request account deletion from Account → Privacy & Data. Deletion processes your eligible records and deactivates your identity. Records that must legally or operationally remain (financial ledger, fraud-prevention, audit) are retained but personal references are minimized where feasible. Deletion requests are processed after a configurable grace period of 14 days.

You can request an export of your data from Account → Privacy & Data → Download My Data. Exports contain only your own records. Large media files are referenced rather than embedded.

You can edit profile information, birth profiles, and preferences directly in the app. For other corrections, contact us using the details in Section 32.

Gateway uses essential session and authentication technologies required for login and security. Optional analytics, personalization, and advertising categories are described in the Cookies / Privacy Choices document and are not enabled without your choice where consent is required.

You can manage analytics, personalization, and advertising preferences in Account → Privacy & Data → Privacy Choices. Essential technologies cannot be disabled because they are required for the application to operate.

Gateway accounts require users to be at least 18 years old. You confirm this at registration. We do not request identity documents solely to verify age.

Gateway is available internationally. If you access Gateway from a region with specific data-protection laws, your information is handled in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the service. No system can be guaranteed completely secure. We do not claim certifications we have not independently obtained.

We may update this policy. Material changes are versioned and dated. When appropriate, we will prompt you to acknowledge the updated version. You can review prior versions in the Legal Center.
